Follow the country roads to #MTBNats!

Good evening everyone,

We got away with another great day of racing today! We had downhill seeding where our 11-12 girls, Alyssa White and Manning Merten were separated by only 2/10th of a second! We saw over 500 cross country racers take on a fast course with our first age groups hitting the rock garden where the crowds went wild with both 15-16 boys and girls hitting the A line. Dual slalom showed off the skills of our pro riders with a fast track and head-to-head competition. We’re looking forward to a sloppy tomorrow with some epic battles for the stars and stripes jersey. Check out below for important information regarding tomorrow’s races.

See you tomorrow,

Cross country:
8:00 a.m. XC F 17-18: 3 laps
9:30 a.m. XC M 17-18: 4 laps
11:00 a.m. XC F U23: 4 laps
12:45 p.m. XC M U23: 5 laps
2:30 p.m. XC F Pro: 4 laps
4:30 p.m. XC M Pro: 5 laps

Pit passes are required for all cross country races and tech support is allowed. Pit passes can be picked up at registration in Expo in the Big Top. The downhill rock garden and B line is in every race tomorrow. All races tomorrow will have call ups for all riders with rank points. You can find call ups posted here.

Please note due to UCI rules cameras are not allowed on bikes or helmets for tomorrow’s races. We will be enforcing the 80% rule for all races tomorrow.

Start lists for 10 AM DH, 11:30 AM and Pro Seeding

Please make sure you arrive at the start line with your chip on. If for some reason you are missing your chip, please go to registration so we can give you a new one to ensure that you can race. For riders to advance to the finals they must start their race, they do not need to finish. Please note that we have weather coming in and while we are looking at all options for finals, we want to make you aware that one option is using your seeding run time for final results. Again, we will look at all options and will be watching weather. We’ll keep you updated as we go by email updates, staff at the top of the DH track, posts on our Twitter account, and postings in registration on the results/update board.
